Bio: Bobbie "Mercy" Oliver was born in Atlanta, Texas. He taught himself how to play the guitar and then the harmonica and put them together. He formed his first band there in Atlanta, Texas with family members. He moved to Chicago, Illinois and formed another family member band called The Oliver Trio, this band consisted of Bobbie, his sister Mary and his wife Cleo at that time. They played the Delta Blues Venues all over Chi town. Bobbie once worked at Midland Ross a steel mill plant in Chicago with Gene Chandler, Earl, and Tyrone Davis. He played with Gene and Earl at Christmas party's and they had fun trying to play Chubby Checkers Twist. Tyrone worked at the same plant but in another building, Bobbie did not get to know Tyrone as he knew Gene and Earl. He moved back home and lived there until 1993 before moving to Marshall, Texas, working for his bother in the air coditioning refrigeration business, a job that led him to his wife, Eva. He married and began his present band, Jam City Revue. They have been together since 1994, well two of the originals are still together, KT. Turner and Bobbie. The other members are Robert"Mr. Debonair" Wilcots on keyboard, Oran Gipson on lead guitar and J.R. Martin on drums, all of the members can sing and that's a plus. Last, but not least we have Lady Phatt Kat Faye on vocals doing Back It Up and other hits. Phatt Kat sung backup for Blues Boy Willie for fifteen years, touring all over with him. The band

Interests: Naturally music is our favorite hobby, with dominoes coming in second.music, music and more music. We want to play with other great muscians such as BB.King, Eric Claypton, Buddy Guy and the two Bobby's, Bobby Bland and Bobby Rush.
