Bobbie Mercy Oliver had a twenty year hiatus from music before starting his latest band, Jam City Revue on or about 1995
or 1996. This band goes every where to play and is always invited back to perform.
Bobbie "Mercy" Oliver, K.T., and Eva"Mom" Oliver just returned home from a short tour of Vicksdburg, Ms, meeting
with various booking agents. We went to Canton, Ms and visited with Kaple Hill of Radio Station WONG 1150 AM where they
are already giving Mississippi Mudd and Highway 61 lots of air time. We went back to Jackson, Ms to Radio Station WMPR
90.1 FM owned by Mr. Charles Evers, they are playing the cuts also. We did not get to go to Radio Station WWOZ in Mandeville,
La where they will be rotating our cuts on Wednesday the 21st from 2pm-4pm and then they will be part of normal selections after
Wednesday the 21st.
Bobbie"Mercy" Oliver and Jam City Revue Band just returned from the Battle Of the Bands in Helena, Arkansas. It
was a very exciting event with two bands representing Marshall, Texas, Jam City and Diddley Squat. Jam City did
not place but Diddley Squat won first place and a paid spot on the King Biscuit Festival in October 2004. We enjoyed
the bands and there was some awesome bands participating , but of course there could only be one first place winner.
We are extremely excited because Diddley Squat represents the entire city of Marshall. Congrats are in order for them.
The current band consist of, Bobbie Mercy Oliver, Harmonica, Guitar and vocals. Carl on Bass Guitar, B. T. Carpenter on Drums
and Percussions, Lady G. female vocalist, the best of the best In February 2007, Bobbie Mercy Oliver will
travel to Memphis, TN to represent the Shagbark Blues Society's nomination of his new CD, "Simply Bobbie" for the best
self produced CD for 2007. Thank you Shagbark, you're the greatest blues society in Texas.

11:00am for the first time. Bobbie and the band will do another show between 3:30and 3:45pm and then the band will head back

September 23, 2004 Bobbie"Mercy"Oliver and the band will play in Galveston, Texas for The Lonestar Rally;time and stage to
be announced as soon as the information is available.NEWS
The band had a blast opening for Richochet and some of the band members performed with the Tommy McCoy blues band in Winnsboro,
Texas at the Northeast Texas Music festival and on Saturday night they were at Brophy's downtown Marshall where Bobbie Oliver
& Jam City Revue are the band prefered by many. We have lost new musician Dan Anderson a lead guitarist, of Marshall and gained
a keyboardist, Wesley Patton,Tyler Texas, its so hard to keep musicians. Lady G our new female vocalist is the best vocalist
we've ever had. Val has lost a three year battle with colon cancer. He expired on May 17, 2006, gone but loved and will be
remebered as the best guitarist this band has ever had. All our shows are dedicated to him forever.
Bobbie Mercy Olivr went to Jackson, MS at the invitation of renown guitarist and musician, Jesse Robinson. Bobbie had the
priviledge of sitting in with Mississippi's finest professionals as well as Chicago Illinois pros. Mercy met Jesse Robinson
in Helena, AR at the famous King Biscuit Blues Festival in 2004. Thank you Jesse, the band and I hope this is a beginning
of opportunites to play in your great blues state, in fact(Mississippi) is known as the birth of the blues.
Simply Bobbie was nominated by Shagbark Blues Society for the best self produced CD for 2007. See you in Memphis, TN, on
February 1st-3rd. OOPS, I did it again, had emergency surgery just before the trip to Memphis, TN. Mercy Oliver, Lady-G and
ex bass man had to go by themselves as I laid in that uncomfortabe hospital bed too sick to imagine Memphis in the dead of
winter. It snowed on their first night there. They had the experience of a life-time, meeting, greeting and just plain old
learning the ropes( Music) business from the pro's.

The band and I went to perform at the Lone Star Rally in Galveston, Texas on Thursday the 23rd of September. Hurricane
Ivan did not land but hurricane Bobbie"Mercy"Oliver and the Jam City Revue band came ashore on the Landry Stage.
The crowd was receptive and enjoyed the music. My doctor heard us play for the very first time and she was impressed,
saying we were awesome. We came home on Friday night getting ready for Longview Library on Saturday afternoon
and for Dangerfield, Texas on Saturday night. I tell you we are some tired campers just looking for a respite. Mercy,
K. T. and Mom just returned from Little Rock, Arkansas where we were VIP guest of the opening act, Ramona Smith and her band.
They opened for the legendary, B. B. King. If you missed these two Power House entertainers, you missed a one of a kind
performance. Ramona is in our opinion, as good as the other female super stars. She had to be very talented to open
for the legendary B. B. King. Mr. King had to come on with it after her dynamic performance.

to eat. Thank you management from all the emerging artist who performed there. The current band members are Bobby"Mercy"Oliver
on harmonica and guitar, Booker T. Carpenter, full time drummer, Need a Bass Player ASAP and Lady G, female vocalist,
the best of the best. C.M will be our bass person.
